“ throughout all of time “

“ throughout all of time “

A summer rain came early today drenching and drowning

the city before exiting leaving us all clean but in a steamy

and dreary grey sky while hinting there’s more to come.

Amidst the now lingering balminess of the trees lining

the avenue I found myself wondering about a rather

peculiar feeling of being observed.

You know the feeling and when look up there is

someone staring at you.

Within that moment, the past, the present and the future

all roll into deja vu.

The French can say in just two words, what can not

be expressed in less than a thousand words at best.

It was her eyes, they said all that needed to be said.

The raison d’etre, the moments by which love

can not be explained.

Only known, only felt, only understood.

It has been said that if you truly loved someone,

then you would never another.

And within that moment.

Within those eyes.

Lay the one I have loved throughout all of time.
