It began eons back before eyes of man
began to catch on our little illusions.
And found us in the act of playing out
our little game of hide and seek.
For a while we hid ourselves in novels
and books of poetry.
We have even hid in portraits and landscapes
of the great masters.
We chase each other through the corridors
of our thoughts and draw upon our memories.
We have hidden in all of the great libraries
and museums even in the private collections
of those trying to learn the secrets of our gift.
It’s truly not all that complex in fact it is
very simple and many, many, many have learned.
It’s called love, you simply fall in love and
forever more your connected through love.
It all began when the wisest of us all shared
his idea that through love we could change
the Universe and he showed us the way.
