“ our hearts and souls will embrace “

With cup in hand…

As I strolled through Tessha’s Poetic Garden…

A single line from a song arose within my soul…

“ you don’t bring me flowers any more “

As my lips grew into a smile…

The pleasures that are you…

Danced within my heart…

I stopped and did that googlealabing thing…

I know it wasn’t our song…

It was mine…

As with you I didn’t always agree with your politics…

But I melted to her voice as I did yours…

“ and baby, I remember all the things you taught me “

“ I learned how to laugh, and I learned how to cry “

I have yet to allow them to flow…

For I choke and fight them back…

Together we raised a son, you will never know…

We still dance within the moonlight of my soul…

To the music within my heart…

“ so you’d think I could tell you goodbye “

But through sixty plus years…

I have searched through His Cosmos…
