A Right To A Medical Procedure.
Forty eight years ago, The United States Supreme Court announced their decision on the Case before them known as Roe vs Wade… These jurists were not known for their position on either Pro Life or Pro Choice. They rendered a decision not based on any evidence of life or death. Their decision was based on the Right of an American Citizen to have a Medical Procedure. Their decision has stood against all attempts to limit or restrict an American Citizens right to a Medical Procedure. The Court, forty eight years ago did not rule on the right of American Citizens right to a medical procedure based on sex, gender, or ethnicity. The Court did not hear or see evidence on life or death, nor did they hear arguments on who or how the procedure would be paid for. The ideologies behind the differences fail to account for the fact that overturning this Court Ruling takes away the right to a self determination of medical procedures and places them in the hands of the Government. I do not wish to have Our Rights To A Medical Decision To Be In the Hands Of Our Governments either State Or Federal.
